The place was just as described and shown on pictures. Very basic room with extraordinary beach view and experience. Being that close to the ocean was unreal. Waking up to the sunrise every morning made this so worth it. We also got the best massage EVER. The staff was friendly and cleaned the room very nicely. The power went out the night before we left and never turned back on, we didn’t reach out to get it resolved, it wasn’t a big deal since we had our phones charged, it did get a little hot that night without the fans on. (Again, you can’t be mad when you’re THAT close to the ocean). We would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful and peaceful location! The staff were all wonderful and the rental company was friendly, helpful, very responsive and had great recommendations. Our first unit was right on the ocean, very bare bones, but clean and an exquisite location, however we unfortunately arrived when a hurricane was baring down on Tulum so they suggested that we stay in an even nicer 2nd floor unit w/ a great deck and an interior sitting area that they thought might be safer, but unfortunately after 3 nights they had us evacuate to another much safer property they had in Cancun. The Tulum property was walkable to so many really wonderful restaurants on the beach, and also had a massage therapist so we both had glorious massages prior to leaving. Breakfast of fresh fruit, toast and yogurt was perfect. The only thing we struggled with was the lack of air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan, and the ocean breezes were wonderful, but it was still uncomfortable for us.
