Since our flight was delayed, we arrived much later than anticipated and the front office was closed. The codes for the locks that were given to us prior were incorrect, so that was frustrating. After many minutes, we were finally able to get in and get to our room. The room smelled HORRIBLE. I understand that it is a humid country and thus it is to be expected, but it smelled like death in there. PROS The staff is super friendly, they treat you like family ! Beach is walking distance There are two restaurants right in front of the bnb Super quiet Bed is super comfy Pool is cool (literally) CONS Don’t weigh in the rooftop, it’s disgusting. Beer cans everywhere, it just looks abandoned. You are very far from downtown. You need a scooter(80US/day) golf cart (160US/day) or bike. Neighbourhood is extremely poor. Rented bikes are in very poor condition. Beach is not swimmable. The current is very strong and there’s lots of rocks. Considering the price, we were def disapointed.

If you are looking for some accommodation with beautiful views, very quiet to relax and disconnect from the world, this is the place, look no further.
On the other hand, if you are a lover of nature and physical activity, I recommend you take a bicycle and visit Punta Sur, which is a few minutes from the property, it is worth exploring and touring the neighborhood.

Great place. Should think about having a generator or a solution for when there is no power and water. Overall great place but kinda getting a bit old.
