First, the staff , Veronica, was great, couldn’t do enough for you. That said, when you pay a certain dollar amount for a place like this you have certain expectations. You have a beautiful almost completely marble interior, with a kitchen that cabinets are covered in cracked and peeling contact paper and doors missing. Hot water went out on two separate occasions and we only had one set of towels for the week provided. There was not a functioning washer / dryer as advertised, so pack accordingly. Also could use more than 2 lounge chairs by the pool. Awesome location, you are literally right on the beach. Do some of your own due diligence too, for things like transportation, thru Solmar it was a $190 one-way shuttle from airport, with airport recommended shuttles is’ $40. The staff and host are very attentive and responsive.

The house is beautiful! Very large and clean (the on site cleaning lady was so pleasant and worked non-stop). The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, right on the water with a beautiful beach. The kitchen could use some TLC and by the end of our stay the pool needed to be serviced (due to algae). Overall very enjoyable stay!

To have access to all the attractions in Cancun and the Mayan Riviera, you could rent a car or schedule private transfers. We’ll be happy to help you if you need any assistance.
Another option would be using public transportation. All you need to do is walk to the main avenue to take the local buses.
In addition, it is just a few minutes away from the most popular section of the hotel zone where you will find beach clubs, restaurants, a large supermarket, and all the nightclubs.

This place was amazing! We were a group of 14 with plenty of room for everyone. If you wanted to go swimming you could go in the pool or the ocean which the beach is sandy and beautiful. The staff on site were very nice and helpful. They would do the dishes after we would cook our meals and cleaned the whole house everyday. The staff with Solmar were very responsive – there was an issue with a bathroom and the refrigerator which was fixed same day. Prior to our stay we worked with them to arrange for transportation to and from the airport for us, we had a chef (Lily and team) come cook for us one night and food was amazing! I would definitely come back to this place if our large extended family came back to Cancun. I would definitely work with Solmar again as well if we need a smaller place. The only tip I have for future guests – tell them what time you will arrive on your first day so they can have the house cooled down for you.
