2. Cancellations
2.1. Cancellation Periods
Customers may cancel their reservations based on one of the following policies:
- Moderate: Guests may cancel up to 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will not qualify for a refund.
- Firm: Guests must cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will not be eligible for any refund.
- Strict: Guests must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival to qualify for a full refund.
2.2. Notification of Applicable Policy
The applicable cancellation policy for each property is displayed during the reservation process. Customers will also receive confirmation of the policy via the contact details provided during booking.

2.3. Cancellation Request Process
To request a cancellation, customers must submit a written request to customercare.cun@solmarrentals.com including the following details:
- Full name of the customer
- Reservation confirmation code
- Reason for cancellation
- Contact information
2.4. Exceptions to Cancellation Policies
Solmar Rentals reserves the right to make discretionary exceptions to the stated policies in specific circumstances. While these situations do not guarantee refunds, they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis:
- Medical Emergencies: Verifiable illnesses or medical emergencies that directly affect the reservation holder.
- Extreme Weather: Severe weather conditions that prevent the use of the reserved service or access to the destination.
- Public Health Emergencies: Officially declared epidemics, pandemics, or health crises (excluding endemic diseases such as seasonal influenza). Note: COVID-19 is not covered under this policy.
- Conflict or War: Events such as war, terrorism, armed conflicts, or civil unrest.
- Death: Death of the reservation holder or their travel companion, with supporting documentation.
- Errors by Solmar Rentals: Administrative, technical, or logistical errors attributable to Solmar Rentals.
Decisions on exceptions will be communicated in writing and remain at the sole discretion of Solmar Rentals.
2.5. Cancellation of Additional Services
Cancellations of additional services purchased through solmarrentals.com are subject to the policies of the respective service providers. While Solmar Rentals will assist in facilitating cancellations, the final decision lies solely with the third-party provider.
3. Refunds
3.1. Eligibility for Refunds
A full refund will be issued only if:
- The cancellation meets the criteria outlined in Section 2.1.
- The cancellation results from an error by Solmar Rentals.
Partial refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of Solmar Rentals, considering the specific circumstances of each case. The issuance of a partial refund does not set a precedent for future cases.
3.2. Refund Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
3.3. Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction. If this is not feasible, Solmar Rentals may provide a credit or coupon equivalent to the refund amount.
3.4. Deductions
Refunds may be subject to deductions for non-refundable administrative fees or banking charges, as applicable.
3.5. Disclaimer
By accepting a refund, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
- They waive any future claims, complaints, or legal actions related to the service or product for which the refund was granted.
- The refund constitutes a full and final resolution of the matter between the customer and Solmar Rentals.
This waiver applies to all related parties, including agents, representatives, and third-party providers.
4. Policy Modifications
Solmar Rentals reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication at:
