There are good and bad things. First, the good: The Condo is directly across the street from Playa Tortugas, the ferry to Isla Mujeres, and the bus stop to the hotel zone is on the main street. The entrance to the condo is actually on the side street. Check-in was fairly easy; there is a front desk person and security 24 hours a day. There are elevators and hallway lights on a motion sensor in the building, and the condo itself was nice, nicely decorated, and had a big balcony, washer and dryer. Now for the bad: They have one shared lock box where you retrieve the keys for the condo. The issue is that that lockbox also has keys to the adjoining condo, along with the keys for the door inside the condo that can unlock the adjoining door between the two condos, making this a huge security issue. N safe in the condo. It was dusty; amenities were not replenished before our arrival. Planets on the balcony were dead. The host is quick to respond but late with solutions.
